We were pleased to win 1st place at the A,D&G indoor contest for both the open and closed on 28th March 2009 in Cumnock Academy. Well done to all who played.

The band have had a great 2008 season doing well in competitions. We are now Ayrshire, Dumfries and Galloway Branch Champion of Champions 2008 and Drumming Champion of Champions 2008.

We have Won Our First 1st Prize

We took 1st place at Ardrossan Highland Games on Sunday 8th June.
It is great to win our first 1st during our Twenty fifth year.

The Irvine and District Pipe Band was founded to promote the art of Piping and Drumming within the Ayrshire area and that the tuition and membership be free and open to everyone regardless of religion, sex, age, colour or creed.
